Md Shohel Rana Talukder pursued his Ph.D. in Computational Science (Major in Computer Science) from The University of Southern Mississippi (USM), Mississippi, United States. He received his B.Sc. (Engr.) and M.Sc. (Engr.) degrees in Computer Science and Engineering from Mawlana Bhashani Science and Technology University, Tangail, Bangladesh.
Current role as an Assistant Professor at the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth, North Dartmouth. Also, was previously an assistant professor at Florida Gulf Coast University (FGCU) and The University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB), a Visiting Assistant Professor at Northern Kentucky University (NKU), a Senior Lecturer at Daffodil International University (DIU), and a Graduate Research & Teaching Assistant at USM.
Research interests include Data Science, Artificial Intelligence (i.e., Machine Learning, Deep Learning), Data Mining, Pattern Recognition, Digital Image Processing, Computer/Machine Vision, E-Learning/Distance Learning, Web Technology, and Applied Cybersecurity.Â
